SYNOPSYS
This story is inspired by real events which took place in 2020 in an infamous and remote neighborhood on the outskirts of Rome: Ponte di Nona.
Fabio (unemployed, fed up and, at thirty, not feeling so young anymore) is dumping in his area, he has an idea. He fakes being a reporter sent by the well- known TV show The Mole. Together with a crew, he pretends to record TV reports around the neighborhood highlighting the problem, in the process becoming a hero to the aggrieved residents.
What Fabio doesn’t yet know is that Rome is governed by mysterious, broadly mythological figures, who conspire to keep everything as it is, malevolent deities which he’ll soon encounter.
It’s said that through a camera lens you see our personalities, our true essence. But in a society based on appearances, does our character still count, or are we all exposed like display pieces?
In a city where everything seems stuck, is a revolution possible? Can the collective good supersede individuality?
