SYNOPSIS
At the height of the Cold War, facing the threat of nuclear annihilation, a group of Hollywood filmmakers—haunted by the horrors of World War II—bands together in a secret programme known as ARCA. A hundred years later, their legacy is our last hope.

LORENZO QUAGLIOZZI

BIO

 

Lorenzo Quagliozzi (Rome, 1999) is a self-taught director. After graduating from high school, he interned on the sets of Paolo Sorrentino’s The New Pope and Marco Bellocchio’s Exterior Night. From 2018 to 2019, he curated the video documentation for the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome and collaborated on archive research for Giuseppe Tornatore’s documentary Ennio. Following Illusione (2020) and Il mio cuore è vuoto come uno specchio – Episodio di Odessa (2022), he won the Nastro d’Argento for Best Short Film in 2024 with De l’amour perdu. ARCA is his fifth short film.
